EMCO OS License Modifier - What's New in Version 2.2

Network scan settings available on the application Preferences dialog were extended and now provide an access to manual network scan performance tuning. Depending on number of computers in your network and available resources on your computer, you can configure from 1 up to 50 parallel scanning threads to reach an optimal workload and scanning time for your environment.

New option for administrative access assurance was added to scan settings. It allows checking an administrative access to remote computers during their scan. If it's turned on, after a scan you can find in the application log a list of computers where you don't have an administrative access to modify their OS registration information. Making this check you can ensure that you have enough rights to complete modification of OS registration information on all selected PCs before you actually start modification.

This version introduces a new approach for executing tasks visualization. Now you can see all tasks executed at the current moment in the special Task Management area. By default it's displayed next to the Application Log tab, but as other areas, it's dockable and you can change its location, if required. Using this area you can not only preview executed tasks and their progress, but also can cancel every particular task and task groups. For example, you can cancel scanning of some PC or terminate scanning of the whole domain.

If you need to check or modify registration information on the local computer you don't need to make a scan. A special Computer entry in the Network Tree represents the local computer and allows OS registration info modification by just one click.
