Release and Price Policy

As a general rule EMCO will release new versions of its products once a year. Those new releases will generally add features and functions to the products.

Release dates will not be published in advance. Same applies to new features and functions lists. The lists become available only once the new release is announced.

Maintenance updates will be released in between as need be. Maintenance releases do not add new features or functions to the products.

Pricing

Maintenance releases: NO CHARGE.

New releases. New releases may come with new prices. Existing customers have several options for buying new releases:

• Within a year of original purchase: Difference between the new release price and old release price.
• Within 1 and 2 years of original purchase: 1/3rd of the then valid newest release price.
• Within 2 and 3 years of original purchase: 2/3rd of the then valid newest release price.
• After 3 years of original purchase: Full price of the then valid newest release price.

Not withstanding this release and price policy EMCO may at its own discretion offer special promotion packages including release upgrades.
