New Office 2013 UI skin

A new UI skin has been added that has a style similar to that of Microsoft Office 2013 and was inspired by the concepts of the flat UI introduced in Window 8.

Registry export filters

If you need to export registry data, but skip exporting of particular registry keys, you can configure the keys that should be skipped on the Exclude Keys tab of the Export Conditions dialog. This option is useful when you need to backup entire registry except of some keys.

New main window layout

The controls layout on the main application window was reorganized to simplify customization. The schedule and calendar controls were moved to the Calendar area that can be collapsed if you prefer to work with a plain list of tasks. Space for the Machine Queue view was expanded, so it becomes easier to manage data on it.

Improved the Machine Queue editor

The Machine Queries and Machine Queue editors, used in previous versions or the application, were merged into the single editor. On the left side of this editor you can select available machines, groups of machines and machine queues and move required elements to the right side in order to use them as targets of the registry export and merge operations. If you like, you can create new machine queries directly in the right side of the editor, that represents the configured Current Queue. Also you can preview a list of PCs reported by the Current Queue on the Effective Queue Structure tab.

Added a feature that allows to specify if the results of a registry export should be merged into a single file or an individual file should be created for each registry export condition

Active Directory queries

Now the application allows to configure static and dynamic targets for registry export and import operations. You still can add particular PCs to a task machine queue, but if your task is executed on schedule in most of cases it's better to use dynamic targets defined by an Active Directory query. Machine Queries allows you to define a set of PCs, based on some criteria, for example, all PCs that are included in the OU. When a Machine Queue includes a query, this query is executed every time before execution of the task. As the result, you don't need to update Machine Queues manually every time when your network structure is changing.

Machines data import

The new option appeared in the Registry Merge Wizard. At first step of every operation and task configuration you have to define a scope of PCs to manage. As before you can enumerate a network or add PCs manually. Now you can also import machines data from a file. This file can be created using machines export operation in the application or it can be created externally.

Network machines export/import

The application network environment can be exported and imported to/from CVS or XML files. It allows to backup and restore configuration instead of network scanning and also to share configuration between multiple application instances. Using wizard you can configure import/export format and set of data that should be imported or exported.

Application log export

The application log, that includes information about all performed operations and all registered errors can be exported as CSV or XML file. The Export Log Wizard allows to configure export format according with your preferences and your needs.

Extended alternate credentials format

The format, used to specify account on the Alternate Credentials pane, was extended to allow specifying account name as a username followed by the ampersand symbol and a full qualified domain name.
